The origins of Delahaye a French vehicle manufacturer for Foreign Affairs and lie in a cabinet manufacturer established long ago that produce remarkably, in 1845 all things brick making machines obviously not the car or on horseback and buggy transportation.
Emile Delahaye was first a railway engineer who developed the rolling stock of railways for French and Belgium. But he made his first car-like German Daimler in 1895 and two years later he moved his company from Tours to Paris and settled in a variety of engineering projects.
The first drive shaft cars came in 1907 and the Draft V6 (again, a remarkable achievement so early in the history of the automobile) in 1912. During the “Great War” – World War 1 – the company itself produces a large number and variety of products for the war effort. including large quantities of arms, stationary engines, weapons parts and aircraft parts. But after the war the company moved to cars kinda boring yet safe and reliable (not always the case in the day at the beginning of the automotive industry) to build.
